Barry Saywitz has been in the real estate industry for over 30 years in Orange County, California. He started his career with Grubb & Ellis, then Howard Ecker & Company, and in 1994 purchased the outstanding stock and change the corporate name to The Saywitz Company.
Barry oversees the management and is involved with the negotiations of selected transactions throughout North America. Several national real estate publications have named him one of the top commercial real estate brokers in the country.
In 1996, Barry founded the CORE Network, which one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage organizations in the country, with affiliated offices in over 100 cities in the US, which closed more than $40-billion worth of real estate transactions last year.
Barry has witnessed many difficulties in the market during his career. In our conversation, he generously shared his insights on what has transpired during the pandemic and how the market is changing in commercial real estate.
