  1. I want to buy a house and I really don’t want to wait due to space where I’m currently at. I have used the free access with the lock box with rentals but not with buying. It does give you freedom to check out the home and not be pressured to take it by a realtor. I have had a realtor give me their reasons for taking a house and how it would work for my family even if I didn’t see it.

  2. Abt the self tour home it’s a dangerous thing to do! I was felling uncomfortable not safe.
    I was abt to tour one home the code didn’t work And the agent jst yelled at me to leave his property! It’s risking the agents jobs; jst like the self checkout at a store!

  4. Speaking as a former Realtor I can see the pros and cons of what Redfin is doing, but I have had game changing conversations on showings and have even met future clients on showings. I feel as if that alone is enough to say no thanks… .now if we are talking about having an established buyer and you have shown them a fair amount of homes ( my highest being 23 for one person) I can definitely see why this could be a good idea. Like you said safety would be my major concern especially in markets such as the one here in Detroit.

    I follow your videos
    I bought a new construction town home in Naperville IL in early 2021. the houses have appraised by almost 50-70K in the area. I am considering to buy another property (a single family home keeping the current one as renting property). I wish touse the equity of current home (HELOC). the rent in the area is almost 4K and current mortgage is 2.5K. Is this the right time (low interest rates) or shall I wait. I feel if I wait, interest rates will go higher and value of current home might also go down. Please suggest
