As a real estate agent coach, I often get asked, “Jason, what would be the top 2-3 things you would focus on if you got back into full-time production?”
Here are my Top 3 Action Plans for New Real Estate Agents or veteran agent in a slump:
1. Open Houses: ((Low Hanging Fruit)) Hosting an open house creates an opportunity to for real estate agents to engage with both homebuyers and home sellers. It’s a relatively inexpensive and low maintenance event to host, and it’s easy to find opportunities via FSBO sellers and your fellow agents within your real estate brokerage.
2. Social Events: Meetups, Chamber of Commerce Events, College Alumni Socials, Neighborhood Wine Clubs for women, Neighborhood Bourbon Socials for men, group fitness gyms, church small groups, community volunteer opportunities, etc.
3. Social Media Marketing Footprint: Building a following online by consistently posting valuable and authentic social media content. Pro Tip: Educate your audience to attract business from both homebuyers and home sellers.
